PHOENIX, AZ – Two men went to the hospital after a wrong-way crash on the eastbound side of the freeway in south Phoenix early Sunday morning, reports abc15 Phoenix.
Police say the incident happened around 1 a.m. on Loop 202 near Desert Foothills Parkway.
The investigation indicates that a westbound white pickup truck collided with an eastbound pickup truck on the eastbound side of Loop 202.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle went to the hospital in critical condition.
Medics also transported the second driver to the hospital, though the extent of his injuries is unclear at this time.
A full investigation is underway.
