News: Woman’s life claimed in hit-and-run along Phoenix’s AZ State Prison Complex 

PHOENIX, AZ – A woman was killed in a hit-and-run collision that happened outside Phoenix’s Arizona State Prison Complex on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in the area of North 28th Street and East Van Buren Street, according to 12News. The woman was walking or standing when she was struck by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle did not render aid to the woman or call 911 and immediately fled the scene.

EMS crews rushed the woman to a hospital, where she later died.

A full investigation is underway.
