News: Vehicle hits, kills pedestrian in Maryvale hit-and-run

PHOENIX, AX – A 40-year-old pedestrian died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident that happened at a Phoenix intersection on Friday, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.

Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. on Friday, September 7th, near the intersection of North 51st Avenue and West Indian School Road.

The details of the collision are under investigation. Authorities found the victim, identified as Tommy Hinton, lying in the roadway. Hinton died after transport to a local hospital.
