News: 2-car crash injures Glendale officer and 2 women

GLENDALE, AZ – A male police officer and two women went to the hospital after their vehicles collided at an intersection in Maricopa County Tuesday morning, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.

Police say the incident happened around 3:45 a.m. at the intersection of West Glendale Avenue and 83rd Avenue, which is between State Route 101 and the Phoenix-Wickenburg Highway.

The circumstances of the collision are unknown at this time. The police officer and the two women from the other vehicle all sustained non-critical injuries, for which they were transported to a local hospital.

Video footage indicates that the police vehicle sustained significant damage to its front, while the other vehicle was damaged on the the passenger side.

A full investigation of the collision is underway.
