PHOENIX, AZ – A 78-year-old man was killed in a two-car crash that happened along the Encanto 9-Hole Golf Course on Sunday.
The collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard, AzFamily said. One of the occupants, the 78-year-old man, was initially left in critical condition and taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The 78-year-old man has since been identified as Ronald Johnson.
Police did not say if Johnson was a passenger or driver. Detectives have launched a full investigation.
