News: Dozens without power in Phoenix following big rig crash

PHOENIX, AZ – Over 30 people were left without power after a big rig crash in the Stardust Skies area before 11 a.m. Tuesday, Fox10Phoenix reports. 

Phoenix police said a truck driver crashed into several power poles off the intersection of West Butler Drive and North 35th Avenue. 

The truck is affiliated with U.S. Freight. They released a formal statement, stating “We apologize for the disruption this incident has caused to the homeowners and residents in the area. We are grateful that no one was injured and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work to resolve the situation.”

Police are working to determine if impairment played a role in the collision.
