AVONDALE, AZ – According to CBS 5, the Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal wreck that happened on I-10 near Avondale Blvd on Tuesday.
A driver rear-ended another vehicle around 9:30 p.m. The two drivers exited their vehicles and stood in the lane when a third driver collided with them.
Rescue crews pronounced one driver dead at the scene and transported the third driver to an area hospital with minor injuries.
It is unclear if impairment or speed played a role in the collision.
