News: Tempe motorcycle crash kills 1 on US-60 WB

TEMPE, AZ – A motorcyclist died early Saturday morning after their bike crashed along the highway in Tempe, reports abc15 Arizona.

The incident happened just before 3:15 a.m. on the westbound side of US-60 near I-10, which is between West Southern Avenue and East Baseline Road.

The investigation thus far indicates that the motorcycle crashed in the HOV lane of US-60.

The driver of the motorcycle died after transport to a local hospital.

Police have not yet shared any other details regarding the accident. It is unclear if any other vehicles were involved.

Crews worked at the scene for around three hours following the crash. A full investigation is underway.
