News: Teen boys critically injured in minibike, SUV collision in Central Phoenix 

CENTRAL PHOENIX, AZ – Two teenage boys were critically injured in a minibike and SUV collision that took place in Central Phoenix on Thursday, AZFamily reports. 

The incident occurred at Longview Avenue and Weldon Avenue. Phoenix Police said they believe the boys, ages 13 and 14, who were riding on one minibike, had run a stop sign prior to getting struck by the SUV. 

EMS crews rushed the two boys to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries, while the SUV driver appeared to be uninjured, although their vehicle sustained damage. 

Officials are working to determine the cause of the crash.
