GLENDALE, AZ – Nearly 2,000 people were left without power after a fiery car collision that happened in the area of North 49th Avenue and North Peoria Avenue Monday.
According to Arizona Family, a car driver crashed into a utility pole, which caused the vehicle to flip over and catch on fire. Updated details later confirmed that a car driver had crashed into the pole after colliding with a vehicle.
EMS crews said they took the drivers to a hospital for treatment.
The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. and left about 1,800 people without power. By 9:50 p.m., only 35 people were left without power.
