News: SUV driver fatally collides with scooter rider in PalmCroft 

PHOENIX, AZ – A scooter rider lost his life after he was struck by a left-turning vehicle in the PalmCroft area Tuesday.

Phoenix police told AZ Family that the events unraveled around 9 a.m. when the driver was turning from McDowell onto 7th Avenue when they crashed into the scooter rider.

EMS crews were summoned to the scene. They hurried the scooter rider to a hospital, where he later died. He has since been identified as 35-year-old Thomas Frost.

Police confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment. Additional information will be provided after our team learns more.
