PHOENIX, AZ – A motorcyclist was transported to a hospital after colliding with a vehicle along Werner’s Field Park Monday, 12News reports.
The two-vehicle crash occurred in the area of West Grovers Avenue & North 7th Avenue and caused the motorcyclist to temporarily be trapped underneath. The motorcyclist was able to escape on his own prior to EMS crews taking him to a hospital.
At this time, the motorcyclist is recovering from life-threatening injuries.
Police shut down the intersection for several hours to accommodate the scene clearance and investigation.
Officers are investigating the details behind the collision and have not announced any citations or charges at this time.
