SURPRISE, AZ – A motorcyclist, who was traveling at a high rate of speed, died as a result of a rear-end collision in Surprise on Monday.
AZFamily said the collision occurred before 11 p.m. on southbound Loop 303 near Northern Avenue. The motorcyclist crashed their bike into the back of a Chevrolet car.
The force of the crash ejected the motorcyclist from their bike, who succumbed to deadly injuries.
Officials later confirmed two other vehicles were involved, but did not say how they were involved or if any of those vehicle occupants were injured.
Arizona Department of Transportation crews and Arizona Department of Public Safety shut down the area for the scene clean-up process and reopened all lanes on Tuesday.
