PHOENIX, AZ – A vehicle driver suffered a medical episode, which resulted in a crash with a school bus that happened along Orangewood Elementary School on Tuesday.
The vehicle-bus crash occurred at the intersection of North 19th Avenue and West Orangewood Avenue, according to 12News.
Phoenix police initially arrested the vehicle driver on suspicion of DUI. However, it was later confirmed that they actually underwent a medical scare.
One of the children on board also reportedly experienced a medical episode. First responders said there were several kids on board the bus at the time of the crash. Despite the severity of the accident, no children were injured.
The road has since been cleared.
