PHOENIX, AZ – Officials closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 17 Sunday night after a serious crash in northwest Phoenix, reports abc15 Arizona.
The incident happened sometime before 11:33 p.m. at the intersection of I-17 and Camelback Road, which is just east of Grand Canyon University.
The investigation indicates that a vehicle crashed into a median wall before hitting another vehicle.
One person went to the hospital with critical injuries. It’s still unclear if anyone else was hurt in the wreck.
