CHANDLER, AZ – According to 12 News, a semi-truck driver struck and killed a pedestrian on I-10 WB near AZ 587 on Tuesday.
The pedestrian was running across I-10 WB when a semi-truck driver tried to avoid hitting them by changing lanes but failed.
Authorities found the pedestrian’s vehicle on the side of I-10 close to where they were struck.
Officials have not released the pedestrian’s name.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
