PHOENIX, AZ – A man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a car on 7th Avenue along Salt River Thursday, KTAR reports.
The pedestrian collision happened before 8:45 p.m. and left the man in serious condition. EMS personnel rushed him to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver did not exhibit any signs of impairment. Charges will be determined once the police’s reconstruction accident team finishes with the investigation.
