PHOENIX, AZ – The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a fatal wreck that happened on W Lower Buckeye Rd near S 79th Ave on Thursday, according to AZ Family.
The two vehicles collided when one driver turned left in front of the other driver around 8 a.m.
Rescue crews transported both drivers and a passenger from the car that turned left, Edna Villa, 27, to an area hospital, where Villa died.
Following the collision, authorities closed Lower Buckeye Rd to investigate the wreck.
It is unclear who was at fault.
