News: Sedona Police arrest 74-year-old woman for reckless driving in Clarkdale

CLARKDALE, AZ – Sedona Police arrested a 74-year-old woman for dangerous driving and driving with a suspended license Saturday night, Arizona’s Family reported.

The woman ran a red light in Cottonwood and drove the wrong way on State Route 89A before going to Clarkdale. Police attempted to stop the woman at a traffic stop, but she kept going.

Police arrested her after they used stop sticks to deflate some of her tires. The woman was identified as Laura Duffy from New York.

Duffy was arrested for aggravated assault on police, criminal damage, resisting arrest, several traffic violations, and felony flight.

Law enforcement reported no injuries from other divers.
