SURPRISE, AZ – A red light runner was responsible for causing a fiery crash with injuries Tuesday, 12News said.
The red-light runner’s car caught on fire after colliding with at least one vehicle at the intersection of North Litchfield Road & West Greenway Road.
EMS crews were called to the scene. After arriving, they hurried four of the occupants to a hospital, where they are being treated for injuries considered stable and critical.
Law enforcement and fire crews stayed behind to clean up the debris from the crash. Officials did not specify the number of vehicles involved in the collision or say if the driver who ran the red light was cited.
