EAST SCOTTSDALE, AZ – A 16-year-old teenager was killed and three others were injured in a rollover collision on Sunday, AZ Family said in an updated post.
The collision happened around 3 a.m. on SR 87 South near McDowell Road. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the car drifted off SR-87 and then crashed and overturned. The 16-year-old teenager was ejected from the backseat of the car and suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
The teenager was identified as a girl from Phoenix. EMS crews declared her dead at the scene and transported the three surviving occupants to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
