PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZ Family, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a male pedestrian near N 51st Avenue and Thomas Road on Sunday.
Lucila Lozano Garcia, 47, allegedly struck Jose Arturo Armenta Cisneros, 25, as he was crossing the street around 2:30 a.m.
Rescue crews attempted to revive Cisneros, but he died at the scene.
Garcia drove off following the collision. Authorities located her and charged her with DUI and leaving the scene of a fatal collision.
