News: Police investigate deadly hit-and-run collision near Cactus Gardens

PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, the Phoenix Police Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened at N Pointe Golf Club Dr and Thunderbird Rd on Dec. 14.

Katerina Penrose, 31, was riding a Ducati motorcycle when the driver of a gray four-door sedan with a sunroof cut in front of her as she turned left. Penrose then crashed into the passenger side of the sedan.

Rescue crews transported Penrose to an area hospital, where she died.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to call Silent Witness. A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
