PHOENIX, AZ – A driver struck and killed a pedestrian near S 47th St and E Southern Ave on Tuesday, according to 12 News.
The driver hit Michael Ochoa, 26, as Ochoa was walking in the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk around 10 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Ochoa to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene and showed no impairment.
