News: 1 killed, another hurt in Loop 202 motorcycle collision in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – One motorcyclist was killed and another was injured in a motorcycle collision that happened on Loop 202 along Desert Foothills Parkway Thursday.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety told Fox10Phoenix that the two individuals, riding two separate motorcycles, were suspected of speeding when they failed to negotiate a ramp while traveling on an exit ramp. They crashed their bikes and were ejected.

One motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries at the scene, and the other was rushed to a hospital for treatment of their serious injuries.

Troopers and crews closed the ramp to remove the debris from the collision and have reopened it since.

No other details, including the individuals’ identities, have been released at this time.
