News: Police arrest suspected impaired driver for fatal crash in Surprise

SURPRISE, AZ – According to CBS 5, authorities apprehended the pickup truck driver who fatally collided with a sedan on Deer Valley Rd near Grand Ave on October 14.

The pickup truck driver, an unidentified male, allegedly hit the sedan around 2:45 p.m. Two sisters, Bea Cueto, 19, and Althea Cueto, 20, died in the collision.

Following the crash, police conducted a field sobriety test and took a blood sample.

Authorities released the driver from police custody. He will be charged depending on the results of the blood sample.
