PEORIA, AZ – A person was hospitalized following a bus-pedestrian crash on the 7700th block of West Grand Avenue on Thursday.
The pedestrian was struck by a small, unmarked white bus around 7 a.m., according to AZFamily. The force of the collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries and the bus with some moderate front-end damage.
EMS crews transported the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities shut down the westbound lanes of Grand Avenue between 75th and 83rd Avenues for many hours before lifting all lane closures.
