MARICOPA, AZ – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on State Route 347 on northbound Cement Plant Road on Thursday.
The crash occurred around 5 a.m. and led the motorcyclist to die from their injuries at the scene, according to AZFamily.
Arizona Department of Public Safety shut down several northbound lanes on SR 347 to accommodate the scene clean-up process.
Officials have not specified how the collision unfolded or whether anyone needed to go to the hospital.
