News: Gila River PD called to school bus-car collision in Bapchule 

BAPCHULE, AZ – The Gila River Police Department was dispatched to a school bus-car collision in Bapchule on Thursday, AZFamily reports. 

Police were dispatched to the intersection of Nelson Road and Field Road and pulled up to the scene around 6 a.m. 

Police said a St. Peter Indian Mission Catholic School bus and a white Coupe collided. The force of the collision left damage to the side of the bus and significant damage to the front and rear sides of the white coupe. 

The drivers were spared from serious injuries, and no children were on board the school bus at the time of the crash, police confirm.
