PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a hit-and-run collision in West Phoenix on Saturday, 12News reports.
Phoenix police said the pedestrian was crossing the intersection of 50th Avenue and McDowell Road when they were struck by a hit-and-run vehicle.
Police were called to the scene around 3 a.m. and arrived a short time later, and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Police believe the suspect was operating a pickup truck, but did not describe the model and year of the truck.
