PRESCOTT, AZ – A 73-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle collision that occurred in Prescott on Friday, ABC15 said.
Preliminary details show the 73-year-old man was operating a motorcycle and failed to negotiate a curve, and crashed into a curb. He continued to lose control of the motorcycle and was ejected. This happened in the area of Montezuma Street and Sheldon Street and warranted a response from police and EMS.
First responders pulled up to the scene around 11:30 p.m. Medics provided on-site medical aid before rushing him to Yavapai Regional Medical Center’s west campus, where he died from his injuries.
Officials believe the man may have been speeding and was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
