PINAL CO., AZ – Nobody was hurt in a rollover crash that occurred at the end of a police chase along the interstate near Bapchule on Wednesday morning, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.
The incident happened sometime before 8 a.m. on the westbound side of I-10 near mile marker 172, which is south of Riggs Road.
The investigation indicates that the incident started when police began to chase a stolen vehicle near mile marker 188. Authorities attempted to stop the vehicle multiple times before the driver lost control and veered off of the interstate. The vehicle overturned multiple times before coming to a stop.
Officials say that the two occupants appeared to be uninjured in the crash. They arrested a 20-year-old male on multiple charges, including assault on a law enforcement officer, theft, and unlawful flight.
