News: Motorcycle, truck accident kills 51-year-old man in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A two-vehicle crash on the 2900 block of South Kino Parkway killed a motorcyclist around 1 pm Wednesday.

KGUN 9 said a white 2005 Ford F650 tow truck tried to make a left turn in front of a black 2021 BMW R18 motorcycle. This caused the motorcyclist to hit the rear end of the truck.

Police did not report injuries for the tow truck driver. They did say they believed the driver failing to yield was a significant contributor to Wednesday’s crash.

The driver, whose name was not revealed, stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The Tucson Police Department identified the motorcyclist as 51-year-old Justin Schultz Cetas. Cetas was hospitalized at Banner University Medical Center, where he died.
