PHOENIX, AZ – A man was left in stable condition and a woman in critical condition as a result of a two-vehicle crash in West Phoenix on Sunday.
Arizona Family said the collision happened around 8:30 a.m. in the area of South 27th Avenue and West Buckeye Road. It was there that a red SUV crashed and overturned, coming to rest against a tree. The impact of the crash also caused the white SUV’s front bumper to come apart.
Officials did not specify which driver drove the red SUV and the white SUV, nor have they confirmed how the collision unfolded.
Authorities shut down the area and advised commuters to seek alternative routes as crews worked to clean up the debris from the crash and restore safe road conditions.
