NORTH PHOENIX, AZ – A cyclist, who was initially in critical condition, died one week following a hit-and-run collision, according to AZFamily.
The hit-and-run collision happened around 1 a.m. in the area of North 35th Drive and West El Caminito Drive on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The driver who struck the cyclist fled the scene prior to the first responders’ arrival. EMS crews transported the 62-year-old male cyclist to a hospital, where he died one week later.
The cyclist has since been identified as Richard Miller.
Police are actively working to find the suspect. Anyone with more information is asked to contact officials at the phone number listed in the initial source.
