CENTRAL PHOENIX, AZ – A 48-year-old man lost his life after being struck by a tow truck in Central Phoenix.
The collision happened around 3:45 a.m. last Friday, July 10, off 7th Street and Thomas Road, 12News reports. Preliminary details show the 48-year-old man, identified as Alonso Arizona, went into the curb lane and stepped backward when a truck hit him.
Arizona was left in critical condition and rushed to a hospital, where he later died.
The tow truck driver stayed at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
