LAVEEN VILLAGE, AZ – A 55-year-old male pedestrian died Tuesday after a hit-and-run vehicle struck him along a busy roadway in Laveen Village, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.
The incident happened around 6:37 p.m. near the intersection of South 51st Avenue and West Baseline Road.
Medics rushed the pedestrian to the hospital after finding him in the roadway on the westbound side of Baseline Road.
The man died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.
