PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a male pedestrian near 39th Ave and Van Buren St on Saturday.
The driver hit the man around 7 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the driver fled the area.
