News: Hit-and-run driver arrested after crash that injured cyclist in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix police arrested a hit-and-run suspect on Thursday after a crash that injured a cyclist, 12 News reports. 

The collision took place around 5:30 a.m. off 27th and Glendale Avenues. There, the driver, who operated a landscaping truck, struck the cyclist and then fled the scene. 

Police later found the truck and the driver. He was identified as Carlos Canchola and admitted to fleeing the scene of the crash, according to court documents. 

Canchola will be released from jail in the near future. On condition of Canchola’s release, he must wear electronic monitoring and must not leave the state of Arizona until further notice.
