PHOENIX, AZ – A motorcyclist died late yesterday evening after being by a minivan at the intersection of Camelback Road and 35th Avenue.
12 News reports that the fatal collision happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday, August 10.
Police say that a motorcyclist ran a red light and was hit by a minivan while attempting to make a left turn.
Emergency responders rushed the motorcyclist to an area hospital in extremely critical condition. Unfortunately, he did not survive. Authorities identified him as 28-year-old Melero Cruz.
No one else appears to have been injured in the crash.
