PHOENIX, AZ – A motorcyclist died Sunday night after a vehicle struck them at an intersection in Phoenix before fleeing the scene, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.
Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. near the intersection of East 7th Street and South Southern Avenue, which is just northeast of El Reposo Park.
It’s still unclear how the crash happened, but authorities say they found the motorcyclist deceased at the scene. While the driver left the scene of the crash, they later called police to report themselves.
A full investigation of the incident is underway.
