PHOENIX, AZ – A fiery collision involving multiple semi-trucks on I-17 in north Phoenix this morning left claimed the life of one driver.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, three Shamrock Farms semi-trucks were heading north on the freeway near Deer Valley Road around 4 a.m. when one lost power and came to a stop in the middle of the roadway. A second semi-truck then pulled over to assist the first.
The second driver was unable to notify the third but the driver was unable to veer out of the way in time and ended up collided with the rear of the second truck.
The driver of the third truck suffered fatal injuries in the crash. His identity is not mentioned in the report.
