News: Female cyclist injured after getting hit by car in Goodyear 

GOODYEAR, AZ – A female cyclist was injured after she was struck by a car outside Estrella Mountain Elementary on Tuesday. 

The bicycle-vehicle collision occurred around 7 a.m. at the intersection of San Gabriel Drive and Elliot Road, according to Arizona Family.

EMS rushed the female cyclist to a hospital for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries. 

Police and transportation crews shut down the area for the scene clean-up process and investigation before reopening. 

It is not immediately clear whether the driver will face charges. A full investigation is underway.
