PHOENIX, AZ – Arizona Department of Transportation shut down Interstate 17 North along Interstate 10 for several hours following a vehicle accident on Sunday.
The Arizona Family said the crash happened around 3 a.m. near 16th Street and said closures lasted until nearly 8:30 a.m.
It’s not immediately clear how the collision unfolded and whether heavy rain played a part in the crash.
