SOUTH PHOENIX, AZ – Failing to yield was a factor behind a crash that killed a motorcyclist in South Phoenix on Wednesday, 12 News reports.
The collision happened before 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of 27th and Southern avenues. Preliminary details show that a car driver failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto a private driveway and crashed into a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, identified has 43-year-old Jason David Irons-Raiter, succumbed to his injuries.
Phoenix Police confirmed impairment was not a contributing factor behind the collision.
The victim’s identity has not been confirmed at this time.
