PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a driver hit a woman and pinned her against a building near N 32nd Ave and E Indian School Rd on Sunday.
A woman was driving an SUV when she strayed off the road and slammed into a woman on the sidewalk, pinning her against a wall around 11:15 p.m.
First responders transported the pedestrian to an area hospital with serious injuries. The driver was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around 5 a.m.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
