PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, a driver struck and killed a male pedestrian on Bell Rd near 35th Ave on Wednesday.
The driver hit Jonathan Rion St Cyr as St Cyr was trying to cross Bell Rd around 8:45 p.m.
Rescue crews transported St Cyr to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene. They were not impaired.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
