News: Car strikes, kills man on US-60 near Greenfield Rd

MESA, AZ – A car struck and killed a man in Mesa last Thursday morning after the man parked his motorcycle in the median of US-60, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. on US-60 near Greenfield Road, which is just west of Banner Gateway Medical Center.

Police say that the motorcyclist was hit after parking his bike and walking towards the HOV lane to recover a dropped item. He died at the scene of the collision. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.

No other injuries have been reported from the crash. A full investigation is underway.
