News: Bicyclist killed by hit-and-run driver in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ – A bicyclist was killed by a hit-and-run driver while attempting to cross University Dr. on Thursday.

According to AZ Family, the female bicyclist was crossing University Dr. east of McClintock Dr. when a vehicle hit her and fled the crash scene. The woman was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

Local authorities report the suspect was driving a dark-colored Toyota 4Runner in the years from 1999-2002. They suspect the vehicle will have damages to the front bumper and passenger side.
