News: 19-year-old motorcyclist killed in Phoenix intersection collision

PHOENIX, AZ – A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed and pickup driver was injured in a crash at the intersection of Central Ave. and Bell Rd. on Saturday night.

Arizona Family reports local authorities found the pickup truck rolled over on its side and the motorcycle badly damaged when they responded around 8 p.m.

According to 12NEWS, the motorcyclist was identified as Leonardo Rios-Aguilar. He was transported to a local hospital where he passed away. The pickup driver sustained serious injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
